This role involves leading the design and development of enterprise-grade AI solutions and integrating them into existing platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Architect and lead development of GenAI/LLM-based solutions
Build AI agents, copilots, and intelligent applications
Design and implement advanced RAG pipelines and vector search systems
Integrate AI services into .NET (C#, ASP.NET) applications
Develop scalable APIs using Python (FastAPI) / Node.js
Lead PoCs, MVPs, and full-scale production deployments
Define best practices for prompt engineering and model evaluation
Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of AI systems
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Cloud, Data, .NET)
Required Qualifications
10 years of software development experience
3–5 years of hands-on AI / GenAI / LLM experience (must)
Strong experience building production-grade AI applications
Expertise in system design and scalable architectures
Solid understanding of .NET ecosystem (C#, ASP.NET)
Experience with Azure cloud platform
Must be local to Chicago, IL
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Copilot-style AI applications
Knowledge of fine-tuning, embeddings, and evaluation frameworks
Experience in enterprise-level integrations
Domain experience in healthcare, retail, or finance (plus)
