What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Plumbing Service Technician position at Whitneys Water Systems?
Whitney's Water Systems Inc has an opening for an experienced Plumbing Service Technician with 3 years minimum experience. This is a full time, permanent position. The area we service is the Moapa Valley including Logandale, Overton and Moapa and Virgin Valley including Mesquite and Bunkerville in north east Clark County Nevada. A qualified person will need to live in our service area.
Job experience includes the installation and repair of: tank and tankless gas and electric water heaters, faucets, toilets, sinks, tubs and showers, garbage disposals, leak repairs, sewer and drain cleaning and water treatment.
Responsibilities include: going on residential (and commercial) plumbing related service calls; meeting and talking with home owners; performing a complete assessment of the plumbing problem and complete plumbing system for a proper diagnosis; compile options with pricing using our pricing guide and presenting the options to the home owner; after receiving the proper authorizations, complete the work in a timely and professional manner; once the customer is completely satisfied with the work agreed upon, processing or receiving payment; at the completion of the call you will call the office to to debrief the job and receive the next service call order.
Additional responsibilities: Maintain a clean and stocked service truck (company supplied); clean and sanitize tools and work area before and after each call; attend paid training and safety meetings each morning before beginning service calls; complete the paperwork and reporting for each service call; wear company supplied uniforms. Periodically, company paid, off site training opportunities will be made available to increase your knowledge and proficiency.
