Position Summary
We are seeking a Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. This is a vital role that keeps the kitchen and service running smoothly. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, and able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Dishwashers at Whitman Brewing are valued team members who support the entire kitchen by maintaining cleanliness, assisting with prep, and ensuring all equipment and wares are ready for service.
Key Responsibilities
- Wash dishes, utensils, glassware, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly.
- Keep dish station clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout shifts.
- Assist with trash and recycling removal.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen floors, walls, and prep areas as needed.
- Support kitchen team with basic prep or other tasks when time allows.
- Follow all sanitation and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Prior dishwasher or kitchen experience preferred but not required — we’ll train the right person.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable and punctual.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
