We’re partnering with a top, premier firm to hire an Audit Manager for its Tampa, FL practice.
Compensation: $90,000–$160,000 base (DOE/YOE) bonus full benefits.
Impact of the Role
- Lead end-to-end audits across diverse commercial industries.
- Drive engagement quality, timelines, and budgets while elevating client experience.
- Coach, review, and upskill A&A staff; champion best practices and process improvements.
Core Skills We’re Seeking
- Engagement Leadership: Own planning, risk assessment, execution, and close.
- Technical Depth: Strong US GAAP/GAAS; familiarity with internal controls and documentation standards.
- Project Management: Scope, prioritize, and deliver multiple engagements on deadline.
- People Development: Coach reviewers/preparers; give clear, actionable feedback.
- Client Service: Translate complex issues into practical recommendations; build trusted relationships.
- Communication: Crisp written reports and confident client-facing communication.
Qualifications
- 5 years in public accounting (A&A focus).
- Active CPA required.
- Bachelor’s in Accounting (Master’s preferred).
