Our client, a well‑established hospital system, is seeking a Supervisor, Patient Accounts to support and oversee daily billing and third‑party collections operations within the Revenue Cycle. This is an exempt leadership role responsible for staff performance, compliance, process improvement, and financial outcomes within Patient Accounts.

- Oversee accurate, timely, and compliant billing and follow‑up of accounts
- Compile and analyze weekly productivity and quality reports; communicate trends to leadership
- Lead and participate in payer meetings to resolve reimbursement and billing issues
- Assist Manager with performance discussions, evaluations, and staff counseling
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members; maintain training materials and competencies
- Monitor and manage performance of outside collection agencies and vendor partners
- Review trial balance, pre‑collection, and Medicare credit balance reports
- Stay current on billing, reimbursement, and regulatory changes
- Participate in special projects and departmental goal‑setting initiatives
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Accounting preferred
- Minimum 3 years of patient accounts / hospital billing experience
- Strong knowledge of hospital billing, insurance reimbursement, and third‑party payers
- Prior supervisory or lead experience strongly preferred
- Ability to analyze data, manage multiple priorities, and communicate effectively
- HBI (Healthcare Business Insights) certification required during onboarding
