Primary Care Provider (Rhode Island)

Join a nation-wide primary care organization focused on providing quality care to the geriatric population. We are seeking Primary Care Advanced Practice Providers for our Rhode Island locations.

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm (no nights or weekends)
• 12-16 patients per day once fully ramped up (could start lower if new site)
• Patient population primarily Medicare (over age 65) but also includes Medicaid, with some sites having up to 25% under age 65

Team and Support

• Collaborative care team including 1 MD, APP, Scribe, MA, and shared RN/Social Work support
• Specialty support available through partnership with a telemedicine company, allowing rapid consultation with specialists such as Dermatologists, Cardiologists, and Gastroenterologists
• Utilization of EPIC EMR, managed by scribes and supported by an advanced algorithm to optimize patient care and reduce hospitalizations

Call Schedule

Rotated amongst the market, averaging 1 week every 3 months. As more clinics open, frequency will decrease. A call center is available to triage calls, ensuring they are limited and 100% remote.

Position Details

• Full-time permanent position
• 4-6 week orientation/training period

Requirements

• Board Certification Required
• RI State License Required
• Training as a Family NP or Adult NP
• Previous primary care or skilled nursing facility/nursing home experience preferred, but not required
