We are seeking a highly analytical FP&A professional for a consulting engagement with a well-established, growth-oriented organization. This role will support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic initiatives while partnering closely with senior leadership to drive informed business decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling and analytical skills, a hands-on approach, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This engagement offers the potential for long-term conversion to a permanent position based on performance and business needs.

Job Function

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, monthly and quarterly forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Analyze trends, variances, and key financial metrics to provide insights.
• Perform detailed financial analysis to evaluate business performance. Prepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis.
• Prepare presentations for internal and external clients to include management, shareholders and partners.
• Collaborate with business unit leaders and their teams to understand financial needs and provide insights and interface with multiple business units on highly variable topics and problems.
• Identify and implement improvements in financial processes and reporting. Enhance financial planning tools and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.
• Support potential M&A and other strategic initiatives
  
  
  

Job Requirements

• 5 years of FP&A, Investment Banking, Private Equity, Corporate Development, or Transaction Advisory experience
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
• Strong understanding of financial statements, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis
• Experience evaluating acquisition targets and performing financial due diligence preferred
• Big 4 Deals/Advisory experience preferred; audit-only backgrounds will not be considered
• Ability to identify financial risks, inconsistencies, and data anomalies
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Highly hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
• Must be able to work onsite in Fort Lauderdale, FL
