Overview:
Nutrition Services Assistants are employees of the White River Valley Supervisory Union. As with any SU position staff will, at times, be moved to any site to best facilitate program needs. All staff must complete the WRVSU hiring and background check process before reporting to work.
This is an opportunity to assist with an established and growing program. Responsibilities include: assisting with daily operations of breakfast and lunch throughout the school year and maintaining a safe, supportive environment for all. The successful candidate should be kind, friendly, customer oriented, able to work as part of a local and SU-wide team that serves children, three to eighteen years of age, by providing healthy, nutritious and high quality meals to best support their education programming. Experience in nutrition services and working with children strongly preferred.

Daily Duties Include: *
Prep/Prepare Breakfast and Lunch Daily ( up to 300 students)
Collect payments
Track all daily meals
Submit needed reports
Maintain inventory
Maintain kitchen safety and cleanliness
Order food/supplies as needed
Maintain Daily Temperature logs, Production Records, Menus, and Required Meal Components
Communicate with local school leadership and staff and SU leadership
Complete all necessary Reporting
Maintain yearly Professional Development requirements
Other duties as assigned
