Type: Full-time
The Phlebotomist is clinical position responsible for performing venipunctures and related procedures in accordance with the established standards of care. Through collaboration with all member of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. The Phlebotomist exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to serves patient by identifying the best method for retrieving specimens; preparing specimens for laboratory testing; and performing screening procedures.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.

WEEKDAY AND WEEKEND POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Required Education
High School Diploma or equivalent
Completion of Phlebotomist Certification Program
Required Experience
Minimum of six (6) months experience as a phlebotomist; drawing adults and geriatrics
Required Licensees & Certifications
Current Phlebotomist Certification
BLS certification within 30 days of hire
