What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Attendant - Full-Time - Environmental Services position at White Mountain Regional Medical Center?
The Environmental Services Attendant is a staff position responsible for maintaining environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of the facility. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. Under the supervision of the Environmental Service Manager, the Attendant exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge in performing a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the facility. The position distributes and tracks clean linens to departments and maintains stock levels on nursing floors.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.
