The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is a clinical position responsible for the delivery of direct patient care, utilizing the established standards of care and standards of practice for the patient population it serves. Through collaboration with all members of the health-care team, strives to support a patient centered culture and gain knowledge and skills to further the practice of and the quality of patient services provided at WMRMC. The Certified Nursing Assistant functions under the direction of the Nurse Manager and/or the Chief Nursing Officer and exercises independent judgement in applying professional knowledge required to plan, prioritize and organize diversified responsibilities in the delivery of quality patient care.
This position is safety sensitive and subject to WMRMC’s Drug & Alcohol Policy.
Full-Time - Day Shift - With Benefits
Required Education
Graduate of an accredited certified nursing assistant program
Required Experience
Knowledge regarding the nursing process and its application, including the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care
Preferred Education and Experience
One (1) year previous experience in patient care setting preferred but not necessary
Required Licensees & Certifications
Valid registration as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) in the state of Arizona
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
