What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mechanic Assistant position at White Front Feed & Seed?
Job Requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. consecutively
- Minimum Class B CDL needed (manual transmission)
- Able to work a minimum of 38 hours/week with overtime & Saturdays during peak season
- Mechanic Experience (diesel/agricultural equipment)
- Welding & Fabricating Experience
- Ability to perform manual labor as needed
- Experience with pulling & backing up trailers with a pick-up
- Ability to work on concrete flooring for an extended period of time
- Self-Motivated & able to complete given tasks
- Detail oriented & ability to follow directions
Job Skilled Preferred:
- Agriculture Knowledge
- Basic Smart Device usage
- Cascade & surrounding rural communities familiarity
- Forklift Operation
- Pesticide Applicator or Handler License
