The White Construction team is looking for a Junior Estimator/Takeoff Specialist to join the team.
The Junior Estimator/Takeoff Specialist would primarily be tasked with providing quantity takeoffs for Highway, Civil & Industrial estimates. This position would receive direction from and work closely with Estimators and Project Managers. The training/experience gained through this position provides advancement to the title of Estimator. Timing depends on effort, progress, and success of the individual candidate.

The White Construction team is looking for a Junior Estimator/Takeoff Specialist to join the team.
The Junior Estimator/Takeoff Specialist would primarily be tasked with providing quantity takeoffs for Highway, Civil & Industrial estimates. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and understand contract specifications, documents & drawings to perform takeoff’s accurately
- Performs plan measurements to develop and/or verify quantity estimates
- Stay apprised of industry standard software including researching and reviewing new technologies to expedite the takeoff process
- Communicate with Engineering Consultants and Designers to coordinate information digitally to complete takeoff’s
- Develops presentation and submittal materials exhibits utilizing basic CAD and drafting
- Occasional project site visits and pre-bid meeting attendance
- Special projects as necessary
- Assist with other estimating duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s Degree desired (Civil Engineers, Construction Management, or related field); High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in construction industry preferred
