What are the responsibilities and job description for the Line Cook position at Whiskey 'N Rye?
Whiskey 'N Rye is looking to add line cook positions as we expand our Solvang operations.
The position of Line Cook is primarily responsible for maintaining high food quality and an appropriate pace of food service delivery. Key responsibilities of the position include:
1) Ensuring guest orders are prepared accurately, in the correct priority, and according to recipe and guest specifications
2) Appropriately plating guest orders to the our standard, ensuring each dish looks the most appetizing
3) Ensuring guest orders and delivered in a timely manner to our standard and served together with all other guest orders for the same table/course
The Line Cook is in control of each food item before the item is delivered to the guest for their enjoyment. As such, the Link Cook has responsibility to ensure each dish has been appropriately prepared and is ready to be served to the guest.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
