We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Line Cook to join our fine dining culinary team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, high-standard kitchen environment and is committed to delivering exceptional food quality, consistency, and presentation.
Position Overview:
As a Line Cook, you will work closely with the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs to execute refined dishes with precision and professionalism. This role requires strong culinary technique, organization, cleanliness, and the ability to perform under pressure while maintaining the highest standards of excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and execute menu items according to chef specifications and presentation standards
- Maintain consistency, quality, and timing during service
- Properly set up and stock stations before service
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and plating guidelines precisely
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations throughout shifts
- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation standards
- Assist with prep production, inventory rotation, and kitchen organization
- Communicate effectively with chefs and fellow kitchen staff during service
- Contribute to a positive, professional, and team-oriented kitchen culture
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of culinary experience preferred, ideally in upscale or fine dining restaurants
- Strong knife skills and understanding of cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and sense of urgency
- Professional attitude and willingness to learn
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary school training is a plus, but not required
