Role Description The Territory Account Manager is a full-time, on-site or remote role based in Somerset, PA, responsible for managing and growing a defined customer territory. In this position, the individual will build and maintain relationships with fleet customers, identify their parts and service needs, and recommend solutions that support uptime and operational efficiency. Daily activities include visiting customer sites, conducting business reviews, responding to inquiries, preparing quotes, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and high-quality service. The role also involves monitoring account performance, analyzing sales data, developing territory growth plans, and addressing any issues that may impact customer satisfaction. Collaboration with sales, operations, and technical support teams is essential to provide a seamless customer experience and achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- Experience in territory or account management, preferably in automotive, fleet, or industrial parts distribution.
- Strong skills in relationship-building, customer service, and communication, with the ability to interact effectively at multiple levels within customer organizations.
- Ability to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop strategic plans to grow accounts and improve territory performance.
- Comfort with on-site customer visits, including travel within the assigned territory, and a valid driver’s license in good standing.
