DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage project execution to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope.
- Develop project charters
- Develop project implementation plans
- Confer with project personnel to identify and resolve problems.
- Monitor or track project milestones and deliverables.
- Submit project deliverables, ensuring adherence to quality standards.
- Initiate, review, or approve modifications to project plans.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings related to projects.
- Direct or coordinate activities of project personnel.
- Identify need for initial or supplemental project resources.
- Develop or update project plans for projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing.
- Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Identify, review, or select vendors or consultants to meet project needs.
- Develop and manage annual budgets for projects.
- Establish and execute a project communication plan.
- Develop and manage work breakdown structure (WBS) of projects.
- Monitor the performance of project team members, providing and documenting performance feedback.
- Coordinate recruitment or selection of project personnel.
- Assign duties, responsibilities, and spans of authority to project personnel.
- Negotiate with project stakeholders or suppliers to obtain resources or materials.
- Define, implement and manage the Wheeler Portfolio & Project Management methodology, including work in-take and filtering processes, approval criteria and reporting.
- Assess current or future customers’ needs and priorities by communicating directly with customers, conducting surveys, or other methods.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelors Degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- Strong business acumen with top communication skills.
- 3 or more years of experience in the management of complex projects including relevant experience in a customer-facing role is required.
- Experience managing small to medium scale technology Implementations
- Experience managing diverse teams with remote team members
- Experience managing 3rd party resources (ex. Implementation consultants)
- Expertise/Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Up to 25% travel (domestic and international) may be required.
- Distribution Industry Experience
- eCommerce Solution Experience
- INFOR M3 Implementation Experience
- Implementation of Portfolio and Project Management methodology
- Project Management Professional (PMP®) Certification from the Project Management Institute
