- BSN or Associate Degree from an accredited school of nursing.
- One to two years professional nursing experience in ambulatory care setting preferred.
- Must be licensed to practice nursing in the State of Alabama or one in which Alabama has a reciprocity agreement.
- Must possess knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of public health nursing.
- Must possess knowledge of available social resources for the care and treatment of the physically and mentally ill.
