Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service
- Take customer orders and process payments accurately
- Assist with basic food and beverage preparation as needed
- Prepare, package, and serve customer orders accurately
- Support dine-in, takeaway, and pickup service
- Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming dining and service areas
- Clear and reset tables and maintain dining room cleanliness
- Restock food ingredients, beverages, utensils, packaging, and service supplies
- Wash and sanitize utensils, equipment, counters, and workstations
- Communicate customer requests and special instructions to kitchen and service staff
- Assist team members during busy service periods
- Follow food safety, sanitation, hygiene, cash-handling, and workplace safety procedures
- Assist with opening, closing, and general restaurant duties
Requirements
- Previous restaurant, food service, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is an asset but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and payment-handling abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask
