Job Summary
The Commercial Millwork Project Manager is responsible for managing commercial millwork projects from award through completion. This role works closely with internal teams and customers to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with quality standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage millwork projects from kickoff through fabrication, installation, and close-out
- Collaborate closely with estimating, engineering, drafting, purchasing, production, and installation teams to ensure alignment and smooth project execution
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, general contractors, architects, and design teams, building strong working relationships
- Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to confirm scope, schedule, and requirements
- Develop, track, and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts
- Coordinate material procurement, shop production schedules, and delivery logistics
- Proactively communicate project status, identify risks, and resolve issues in a timely, solutions-focused manner
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders to ensure scope clarity and cost control
- Conduct jobsite coordination as needed to support proper installation and customer satisfaction
- Support quality standards, safety expectations, punch list completion, and project close-out documentation
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in commercial millwork or architectural woodworking
- Strong team-player mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally
- Customer-focused, organized, and solution-oriented
- Ability to read architectural and shop drawings and manage multiple projects
Pay: $70,964.48 - $90,462.60 per year
