What are the responsibilities and job description for the Liquids Warehouse Associate position at Westrock Coffee Company?
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Liquids Division. The Liquids Warehouse Associate uses pick sheets to pick, kit, and pre-stage raw materials and ingredients for daily production. This position will also assist in the execution of the monthly inventory counting of warehouse materials. This position reports to the Production Supervisor and has no direct reports.
- Communicate with Supervisor and Department Lead to determine production materials that will be needed for upcoming production requirements
- Review staged materials/ingredients and reference against pick sheet
- Complete sign-off sheets and necessary paper work to ensure tracking and regulatory compliance
- Accurately identify ingredients by item numbers on packaging lists
- Use FIFO when pulling materials by "lot" number for traceability
- Bale cardboard and other recyclable materials
- Execute general housekeeping of warehouse area
- Operate Powered Lift Trucks safely in dry and wet environments
- Assist in scanning and wrapping daily production
- Unload deliveries and assist in loading and shipping product
- Follow all company GMP's
- Complete trailer inspections and document where applicable
- Scan finished products into inventory using RF scanner
- Responible for LOTO of trailers
- Complete other duties as assigned by management
- High School or GED
- Basic reading and writing skills
- Forklift certification (Can train)
- Proven ability for time management
- Ability to work without constant supervision
