What are the responsibilities and job description for the Material Handler Utility Retail position at Westrock Coffee?
We are currently seeking a Material Handler Utility Retail associate to assist our operators in running our production equipment.
Job Duties:
- Working with a computer system to run production equipment
- Reloading case makers
- Vacuuming the machine
- Performing sanitation cleaning/checks in your area
- Distinguish problems with the machine and fixing, within your ability
- Helping Operator perform changeover tasks
- Stacking finished goods
- Provide general assistance when needed
- Perform all other duties assigned by the Supervisor and Management
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division).
- Stable work history.
- Forklift/ Motorized Pallet Jack certification or ability to become certified.
- Favorable work reference and background check.
- Ability to work without constant supervision Ability to frequently lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.
- Ability to lift and carry bundles of cartons weighing approximately 25 lbs. a distance of 4-12 feet and lift to a height of 3-5 feet.
- Ability to lift and carry rolls of film weighing 30-75lbs. a distance of 4-12 feet and lift to a height of 4 feet.
