What are the responsibilities and job description for the Oral Surgeon position at Westphalia Holdings?
Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon: Reno, Nevada
Reno, NV | Part-Time, 1–2 Days per Month to Start | Private Practice | $12,000–$20,000 per Day Potential
Skip the hospital call, the corporate oversight and the years of building referrals. A confidential, dentist-owned group wants an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon to serve the surgical demand its own pediatric practice and high-producing general dentists already generate in Reno. Start with a day or two a month and grow as volume does.
The work
- General anesthesia cases
- Third molars and complex surgical extractions
- Implant placement and bone grafting
- Full-arch surgical procedures
- Comprehensive oral surgery services
The practice
- 100% dentist-owned and dentist-led: no private equity, no corporate bureaucracy, full clinical autonomy
- Built-in referrals from pediatric and general dentists inside the organization, so patient demand exists from day one
- Fully equipped facilities for advanced surgery, with experienced clinical and administrative teams
- Efficient scheduling and strong case acceptance
Schedule and growth
- 1–2 clinical days per month to start, adding days as demand grows
- A fit for supplemental income or a long-term growth play
- Leadership sees oral surgery as a strategic service line. The right surgeon may expand days, help shape surgical services across the region, take a leadership role in future expansion and explore long-term partnership.
What you need
- DDS/DMD and an accredited OMS residency
- Board-certified or board-eligible
- A Nevada license, or the ability to obtain one
- Experience with general anesthesia, implants and advanced surgery
- Strong communication and patient management
Compensation
Collections-based, with estimated earning potential of $12,000–$20,000 per clinical day and significant upside as surgical services expand.
Why Reno
No state income tax, a fast-growing population and easy access to Lake Tahoe, skiing, hiking, mountain biking and boating. It's a market where a specialist can build a highly productive practice and still have a life.
