The Weston Public Schools is seeking an Elementary Administrative Aide to support the Field School. This is a part-time/school-year role (6 hours per day, 181 days per year), reporting to the Building Principal. About the Weston Public SchoolsThe Weston Public Schools enrolls approximately 1,960 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The school district includes a high school for grades 9-12, a middle school for grades 6-8, an upper elementary school for grades 4-5, and two lower elementary schools for pre-kindergarten through grade 3. Since 1967, Weston has participated in METCO (Metropolitan Council for Educational Opportunity) - a voluntary school integration program that places Boston residents in suburban schools. The Weston METCO program enrolls approximately 150 students (K-12).

- Provide ongoing clerical support to all teachers and curriculum specialists
- Substitute for the Administrative Assistant and Lunch Monitor during absences
- Provide classroom supervision when needed
- Enter daily attendance into Infinite Campus database
- Support bus duty/parent pickup as needed
- Process CORI requests for parent volunteers
- Generate and process purchase orders and reimbursement vouchers, order and distribute supplies for grade leaders, curriculum specialists, order general supplies for school building as needed
- Provide school tours for prospective families upon request
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, place service calls when necessary
- Maintain student files and materials such as filing report cards
- As directed by the Principal and/or Grade Leaders, provide communication with parents, accompany students to various areas of the school, assist individual children, manage inventory of textbooks and classroom materials, prepare materials for classroom instruction, and help coordinate field trips.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Building Principal
The Elementary Administrative Aide will earn between $23.76 to $25.55 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. Additionally, the Weston Public Schools offers a comprehensive benefits package, including paid holidays, subsidized health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and participation in the Middlesex County Retirement System.
