Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide them with seating options.
- Manage reservations efficiently using the POS system.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of guests to ensure optimal seating and minimize wait times.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and assigned areas.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Support the restaurant team during busy periods by assisting with guest services as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a guest-facing role within the food service or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus, but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.
