What are the responsibilities and job description for the Environmental Services Technic position at Westfields Hospital?
The Environmental Service Technician maintains environmental and infection control standards within established policies and procedures of Westfields Hospital & Clinic. The position performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain surgical suites, patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas of the facility.
Work Schedule: 40 hrs. weekly / 1.0 FTE
2:30pm - 11:00pm - 4 days per week; every 5th weekend (6:00am-2:30pm)
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior healthcare cleaning experience
- Certified Health Care Environmental Services Technician (CHEST)
- Basic infection control practices
