What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Westfields Hospital?
The Maintenance Technician operates, repairs and maintains hospital and associated buildings' physical plants and equipment in a safe, cost effective and industry accepted manner, assures a safe and reliable facility to provide services.
Work Schedule:
1.0 FTE - 40 hours
Hours are:
6:00am - 2:30pm M-F
Call rotation every 4th week. During this week, the hours are 9:00am - 5:30pm
The primary responsibility for this position is supporting the Westfields Hospital site, including on-call coverage. Additionally, this role will provide support at other HealthPartners St. Croix Valley locations as operational needs arise.
Required Qualifications:
High School graduate or equivalent.
Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications:
Two-year technical training in building maintenance.
One year experience in the operation of HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems in a healthcare setting.
