Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and hard-working Hot Cook to join our team at Western Sizzlin. As a Hot Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes to order, using a variety of cooking techniques and equipment. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all dishes are prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes to order, including meats, vegetables, and sauces
- Use a variety of cooking techniques, including grilling, sautéing, and frying
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including adhering to health and safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient service
- Respond to customer requests and feedback in a timely and professional manner
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in using a variety of cooking techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks at once
