We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant to support our healthcare team across various clinical settings. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including gathering medical histories and recording vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Prepare examination rooms .
- Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately to document patient encounters, diagnoses, and treatment plans.
- Administer medication injections following proper protocols when necessary.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring comfort throughout visits.
- Complete Prior Authorizations as needed.
- Support administrative tasks such as appointment scheduling, and maintaining patient records efficiently.
- Collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient clinic to deliver comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in clinical environments such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, or specialty practices.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and pharmacology relevant to diverse medical specialties .
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and coding practices such as ICD coding is essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages and backgrounds in outpatient settings.
