Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and verify their identities with professionalism and enthusiasm
- Collect patient information, including insurance details, medical history, and reason for visit
- Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately
- Assist with patient intake procedures and ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly
- Maintain accurate electronic health record (EHR) entries using specialized systems
- Support clinical staff with basic procedures.
- Manage appointment scheduling, cancellations, and follow-up communications efficiently
- Ensure the waiting area remains organized and welcoming for all patients
Skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and hospital medicine practices
- Experience working in dermatology, urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital environments.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions
- Excellent patient service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to perform vital signs measurement accurately and support basic clinical procedures
- Knowledge of ICD coding, medication administration protocols, and inpatient/outpatient workflows
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality
