Role Description
This is an on-site, full-time role for a Medical Assistant based in Pittsburgh, PA. The Medical Assistant will be responsible for supporting healthcare providers by performing tasks such as preparing patients for examination, recording medical histories, managing medical records, assisting with procedures, and ensuring an efficient workflow in the office. The role also includes providing compassionate patient care and supporting administrative tasks as needed to maintain a well-organized and patient-focused environment.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Medical Assisting practices and patient interaction
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Medical Office procedures
- Experience managing Medical Records and utilizing related systems
- Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and professionalism
- Effective organizational and communication abilities
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance standards is a plus
- Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred
