JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Programmer/Operator to join our HVAC manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machinery to produce high-quality, custom sheet metal HVAC components, including ductwork, transitions, and housings. The ideal candidate will translate engineered drawings into accurate, efficient machine code while ensuring strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Programming: Create and edit CNC programs to optimize material usage, reduce waste, and maximize production efficiency.
- Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC plasma cutting tables to fabricate sheet metal parts based on design blueprints and schematics.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect finished products for accuracy using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers) to ensure they meet HVAC design specifications.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor machines during operation, detecting malfunctions, and troubleshooting process issues or program errors.
- Maintenance: Perform daily preventative maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure optimal functionality, including lubricating, cleaning, and changing cutting tools.
- Collaboration: Work with commercial and production teams to review blueprints to improve product manufacturability.
- Safety Adherence: Maintain a clean, organized work area and strictly follow all OSHA and company safety protocols
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1-3 years of experience in CNC programming and operating in a manufacturing environment (HVAC or sheet metal experience preferred).
- Proficient in CAD/CAM software
- Ability to read complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Skilled in using calipers, height gauges, and micrometers.
- Attention to detail

- Valid driver's license

Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
