CK Power is looking for a Service Department Manager at our Mansfield, TX location. The Service Manager provides leadership for a team of Field and In-Shop Service Technicians, along with Service Department support staff. You’ll serve as a resource and point of contact for customers.
What You’ll Do:
· Lead, mentor, and provide support for a team of Field and In-Shop Service Technicians, along with Service Department support staff at multiple locations across the Southwest.
· Calculate and report monthly Service Department finances. Maintain and provide documentation of Service Department activities.
· Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
· Ensure compliance with all CK Power policies and procedures.
· Serve as a point of contact and resource for customers, including escalated customer calls.
What You’ll Need:
· A safety-first mindset.
· A strong technical aptitude and experience with industrial diesel-powered engines, construction equipment, and power generation.
· Prior leadership experience. Ability to provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team.
· Experience with Service Department software.
· High degree of ethical behavior.
· Resourcefulness and ability to figure out viable solutions to resolve problems.
· High motivation and ability to maintain a high level of task focus. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
· Customer-focused and results-driven attitude.
· Strong verbal and written communication proficiency.
· Experience with diesel-powered off-highway equipment preferred.
What Helps:
· Bachelor’s degree in relevant field a plus.
· Relevant trade or technical school experience or certifications a plus.
· Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Electrical Generating Systems Association (EGSA) certifications are pluses.
