CK Power is looking for a Generator/Engine Product Support Specialist at our St. Louis, MO location. The Generator/Engine Product Support Specialist is the go-to person for customer needs. You’ll provide excellent customer service through product knowledge and prompt and professional resolution of engine, generator, and industrial equipment service issues. You’ll be on-call and available for travel when needed to meet customer needs.
What You'll Do:
- Act as point-person for customer questions, concerns, and issues.
- Use the skills you’ve acquired to resolve a wide range of customer needs.
- Build relationships and coordinate with team members, dealers, and vendors to find solutions.
- Be on-call for customer service needs. Expect to travel to customer sites throughout the country and internationally approximately 30 days out of the year.
- Provide creative and proactive solutions. You’ll train customers and stakeholders on product updates, installation, maintenance, and repair.
- Take advantage of ongoing training opportunities to be the best customer service professional around.
What You'll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5 years of diesel, power generation, and industrial systems technician experience.
- Commitment to customer service and problem-solving.
- Computer knowledge.
- Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work requirements.
- Results-driven attitude.
- Resourcefulness and ability to work with limited supervision.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
- Project management skills.
- Ability to travel at short notice and be on-call.
- Willingness and ability to be trained.
What Helps:
- Experience with natural gas/propane units
- Experience with Tier 4 diesel units.
- Relevant trade or technical school.
- Experience with field service work.
- Electrical Generation Systems Association (EGSA) certification.
