What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Technician - Second Shift position at Western Diesel Services Inc?
Consolidated Machine & Welding is looking for a second-shift Powder Coat/Painting Technician at our Hannibal, MO location. The Powder Coat/Painting Technician will operate electrostatic painting equipment to spray negatively charged paint particles onto positively charged workpieces while complying with all company and safety policies and procedures. Pay starting at $19.06/hour. $1.50 shift differential.
What You’ll Do:
- Use powder coat spraying equipment to paint metal products.
- Inspect painted units for excess coating and unpainted areas.
- Clean paint from ceiling and walls of booth, conveyor hooks or grid, and from disks, cones, spray heads, and hoses as specified.
- Hand spray parts to cover unpainted areas or apply rust preventative.
What You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Ability to keep a clean and organized work area.
- Ability to comply with policies and procedures, including those related to safety.
