What are the responsibilities and job description for the Powder Coat Painter position at Focus Workforce Management?
We are looking for a skilled Painter to paint the interior and exterior of metals /lockers and parts. Your job will be important since good painting has both practical and aesthetic benefits. An excellent painter is knowledgeable in how to perform task , They have experience in painting with various tools and in various spaces while observing all safety measures. They must be reliable and deft as well as possess great attention to detail in completing their duties. The goal is to deliver high-quality painting work.
Responsibilities
- Read blueprints/instructions and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
- Spray paint pre mixed material to apply bond or finished coat on a wide variety of sizes and shapes of parts.
- Spray pieces on conveyer, report trouble in operation or equipment operations to supervisor.
- Follow verbal instructions and check thickness of paint while set with standard gauge
- Clean spray gun periodically following prescribed practice and clean paint booth daily
Skills
- Proven experience as a painter
- Good basic math skills
- Conscientious with great attention to detail
