POSITION SUMMARY:
The Center Director will oversee all administrative and programmatic operations, ensuring full compliance with Head Start Performance Standards, federal, state, and local regulations, and organizational policies.
Qualifications:
- Baccalaureate degree in Early Childhood Education, Human Services or a related field with a NC Child Care Administrator Credential, Level III.
- Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education..
- Three years of experience administering/directing a NC-licensed 5-star child care facility/program. Early Head Start/Head Start/NC Pre-K experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Implements program policies and procedures for the overall operation of an entire children’s center.
- Provides a high-quality program by following NC Pre-K guidelines, Head Start Performance Standards, and the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.
- Oversees and supervises the management functions to ensure quality, safety, and all applicable local/state/federal program compliance.
