- -Complete all training requirements as identified in the funding grant. Some overnight travel is expected.
- Create awareness by disseminating information to communities about target issues.
- Provides evidence-based prevention education programming.
- Implement prevention strategies that focus on altering and improving the environment.
- Provide positive alternative activities for youth.
- Identify problem behavior and appropriately make referrals to others.
- Provide technical assistance to community partners relevant to addressing the target issue.
- Work directly with community partners to provide appropriate programming in their community.
- Complete grant reporting to the standards set by grantors and Westbrook Health Services.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply guidance about grant requirements as identified by grantor organizations with support from the Prevention Program Director.
- Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations.
- Maintains confidentiality of all consumer information and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior.
- - Bachelor's degree or non-licensed master level clinician required, with either degree being in behavioral health or human services preferred (psychology, social work, marriage and family therapy, counseling).
- - Must be able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals.
- -Must work well in a team environment.
- -Work with staff, consumers, and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful, and effective manner.
- -Ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- -Must have a valid driver’s license and Automobile Insurance
