What are the responsibilities and job description for the Health and Human Resources Associate position at West Virginia?
Under general supervision of the Program Manager, this position performs administrative support and coordination for the Behavioral Health Program (BHP) and other state licensure programs of Office of Health Facility Licensure and Certification (OHFLAC). Facilitates problem resolution and ensures compliance with the state and federal regulations that govern the BHP. Responsible for the first level triage of complaints, which involve highly complex individual situations and sensitive legal issues that potentially have significant impact on maintaining the maximum time frames for on-site investigations. This position is responsible for processing license applications and communicating with providers regarding the processes and/or need for additional information. Communicates with state, federal and local program participants or technical area personnel to explain procedural changes, clarify guidelines, and answer general questions. This candidate will be required to learn and use program specific computer applications and be capable of entering data timely, accurately and completely into pre-established spreadsheets. May have additional duties assisting other OHFLAC units as necessary and as assigned.
