Job Skills / Requirements
Requirements and expectations of the GR Area Custodian Team Lead:
- Prior leadership experience in a supervisory or similar role, overseeing 5 employees on a nightly basis
- Oversee a number of accounts in the GR Area (downtown)
- Ability to work a consistent schedule with flexibility for occasional extended hours as needed
- Background in the janitorial industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team
- Skilled in training, task delegation and motivating team to meet performance goals
- Pick up and drop off supplies as needed
- Professional demeanor with team and customer, solutions driven and respectful of client directives
- Accountable, honest and willing to take ownership of outcomes and continuous improvement
- Reliable & own transportation a must
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
Must be able to pass a background check. Completely clean record is required for this role.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Shift Time: Roughly 4:00PM – 12:30AM (Shift times may vary occasionally)
Hours Available: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/hour
