Job Skills / Requirements
Requirements of the Account Manager:
- Prior leadership experience in a supervisory or similar role, overseeing 20 employees on a nightly basis
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and overall building presentation while fostering a positive work environment for all team members
- Ability to work a consistent schedule with flexibility for occasional extended hours as needed
- Background in the janitorial industry preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead a diverse team
- Skilled in training, task delegation and motivating team to meet performance goals
- Professional demeanor with team and customer, solutions driven and respectful of client directives
- Familiarity with budgeting, labor forecasting and basic operational planning
- Accountable, honest and willing to take ownership of outcomes and continuous improvement
- Experience with recruiting is preferred
- Self-motivated and detailed oriented is a must
- Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to use motorized equipment (vacuum, hand operated floor cleaners)
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and safety related materials
Responsibilities of the Account Manager:
- Supervises and supports custodial staff across assigned school buildings
- Ensures all cleaning tasks are completed to company and school district standards
- Conducts regular inspections and quality assurance checks
- Manages staffing schedules, call-offs and shift coverage
- Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Responds promptly to building needs including spills, emergencies and special requests
- Promotes a culture of accountability, teamwork and respect
Shift Time: 2:00pm to 10:30pm - Some fluctuation based on customer needs - Must be willing to be flexible (Monday through Friday)
Hours Available: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Base Salary: Annual pay $46,000 to $50,000 (depending on experience) - Eligible for Quarterly Incentive Pay in addition to base pay!
