About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Staff Accountant to join our finance team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple functional areas including forecasting, payroll, reporting, and cash management.
Key Responsibilities
Reporting, Forecasting & Analysis
- Maintain and update revenue forecasts
- Prepare weekly and monthly labor profit reporting
- Prepare monthly gross profit analysis & reporting
- Distribute project profitability reports
- Prepare weekly Flash & Trend Reports
- Send daily billing and collections summaries
Payroll & Commission
- Process weekly payroll, reporting & journals.
- Prepare monthly commission files
Cash Management
- Execute check runs and apply customer receipts
Account Reconciliation
- Perform Credit Card tie-outs and assist with other account reconciliations
Projects & Month-End Close
- Assist with monthly close activities including journal entries and reconciliations
- Support management with special projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2 years of accounting experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Pay: $65, $70,000.00 per year
