Job Summary
West Cobb Engineering & Tool (WCE) is a job shop that predominantly produces aircraft tooling for companies such as Lockheed, Gulfstream, Cessna, etc. As a small job shop our schedule is customer driver and often requires overtime.
We are currently in search of filling CNC Machinist positions . Responsibilities and Duties
The individual(s) we’re looking for will be asked to run the following machines:
SNK RB-250F, 5-axis, CNC Gantry Mill with Fanuc controller
SNK FSP-120V, 5-axis, CNC Mill with Fanuc controller
HAAS VR-11, 3-axis, CNC Mill
FADAL VMC-4020, 3-axis, CNC Vertical Mill
We also have manual mills and lathes that will be used from time to time.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to read and understand blueprints, as well as experience with common inspection equipment
(i.e. – calipers, micrometers, indicators, etc.) is a must.
If you have your own tools, that would be great, but not necessary.
Ability to read, understand, and write G & M code
Strong work ethic demonstrated through action orientation and a drive to achieve results
Knowledge of machining various materials such as steel, aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, ABS carbon infused plastic, and wood would be a bonus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
