CNC Machinist

EDM Technologies is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. Daily responsibilities will include setup and operation of our CNC Hurco Machining Centers.

We are looking for an individual that has the following qualifications:

-Read and interpret blueprints, planning sheets, sketches, and related technical data to plan and determine tooling requirements, setup procedures, machining parameters, and machining methods and sequences
-Review setup sheet, quality routing, and specifications to determine setup procedure, machining sequence, and dimensions of finished work piece
-Setup and operate Hurco CNC Machining Centers
-Generate Programs from solid models
-Determine / adjust machine parameters to maximize machining efficiency
-Observe and listen to machine operation to monitor machining efficiency
-Maintain and troubleshoot machines

-Measure work piece for conformance to specifications, using various inspection instruments, recording data when required
-Communicate with all necessary staff as to procedures and job status
- Ideal candidate should have 5-10 years’ experience in CNC Machining
