Duties
- Prepare and organize loan files for underwriting and processing, ensuring compliance with FNMA guidelines.
- Conduct credit analysis to assess borrower eligibility and risk factors.
- Review contracts and documentation for accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the loan origination process by gathering necessary information from applicants.
- Ensure adherence to Fair Housing regulations throughout the mortgage process.
- Collaborate with escrow agents to facilitate timely closings.
- Utilize basic math skills for calculations related to loan amounts, interest rates, and payment structures.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and communications related to mortgage loans.
- Perform 10 key typing tasks efficiently for data entry purposes.
Skills
- Knowledge of FNMA guidelines and mortgage servicing practices.
- Experience in underwriting and loan processing is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with TILA regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong understanding of financial services, banking operations, and credit analysis.
- Previous experience as a loan officer or in a similar role is advantageous.

- Proficient in basic math calculations relevant to mortgage lending.
