Job Description:
The Order Management Coordinator is part of the Customer Service Group. Manages data in Customer Portals, Excel spreadsheets, EDI and SAP ERP system. Must be able to analyze the data as well as pull data from EDI.
Essential Functions of the role:
- Enter and Maintain customer orders via ERP/ EDI/ email with attention to delivery timelines
- Analyze data pulled from EDI systems
- Ability to manage information in data sheets
- Communicate with internal production, supply chain, and shipping departments to provide proactive updates on order delays or changes
- Reliable to work scheduled days and hours (1st shift, M-F, 7:30am - 4:30pm)
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Solid working knowledge of ERP (i.e,, SAP) and/or EDI systems
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Word
- Ability to use business customer portals
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize and manage time effectively with minimal oversight
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions and meet deadlines
Education & Experience Required
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Prior experience working with an ERP system (i.e., SAP)
- Experience using business customer portals
- Experience working in a professional office environment
Education & Experience Preferred:
- Prior experience in customer service working with businesses
- Experience using a recent version of SAP
