Environments 4 Business is a full-service Allsteel office furnishings dealer located in Independence, Ohio, and emphasizes the importance of a consultative, relationship driven client management style.
We're looking for a Project Designer for our E4B team and in this role you'll create spaces that speak to a company’s story and build an engaging workspace that is unique in both form and function. Some of the projects cover commercial, corporate, healthcare, hospitality, education and government market segments. You'll work on projects from inception to installation and designers are involved in every step of the way, delivering insightful advice and direction across all phases of a design as client’s vision and needs shift over time.
Our designers have extensive knowledge of commercial products and are highly skilled in the most up to date software and tools.
In summary you may:
- Lead and/or assist in client meetings to gauge scope of the project.
- Use problem solving and creativity to create a floorplan that reflects the client’s needs.
- Selection of furniture and finishes.
- Create space plans and reconfigurations for existing spaces.
- Maintaining detailed presentations throughout the duration of a project.
- Work within a budget and be able to find suitable solutions when VE options are needed.
- Collaborate with the Sales lead and manufacturer representatives to create accurate proposals.
- Create detailed installation drawings.
Ideally you will possess:
- CET Knowledge preferred
- 2020 Worksheet
- AutoCAD
- Commercial FF&E knowledge preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate design ideas through sketches, drawings, and presentations.
- Strong attention to detail.
- 2 years’ experience preferred in commercial furniture or similar affiliated industry.
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Interior Design from CIDA accredited programs.
- Associate degree in Interior Design.
