Campus Director, Chief Administrator | Leading a Team That Changes Young Lives Every Day

Wellspring Lutheran Services – New Directions, Livonia | Full-Time, On-site | Salary $90,000 - $105,000 | Accepting applications until September 2, 2026.

The most meaningful leadership roles are not measured by budgets, reports, or meetings.

They are measured by the lives that are changed because someone cared enough to build a program, support a team, and create opportunities for young people to heal, grow, and succeed.

You chose this field because you believe every child deserves the chance to overcome challenges and build a brighter future. You have spent your career advocating for youth, supporting families, leading teams, and navigating the complex work of child welfare because you understand that behind every decision is a young person who needs hope, stability, and support.

At New Directions in Livonia, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership for a residential treatment campus serving youth with developmental disabilities and co-occurring emotional and behavioral challenges. You will help shape the culture, direction, and future of programs that support some of the most vulnerable young people in our communities.

As Campus Director, you will lead with both heart and strategy, ensuring staff have the resources, guidance, and support they need to deliver exceptional care while maintaining a safe, therapeutic, and mission-driven environment.

Most importantly, you will help create a place where healing happens, progress is celebrated, and young people are given the opportunity to discover what they are capable of becoming.

What Your Impact Will Look Like

You will provide leadership for the overall operation of the New Directions campus, helping ensure programs remain focused on the needs of youth while meeting licensing, accreditation, and organizational standards.

You will coach, mentor, and support leaders across multiple programs, helping build strong teams that are equipped to provide consistent, compassionate, and high-quality services to residents and their families.

You will help guide the future of campus programming by evaluating outcomes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing strategies that strengthen services and improve the experience of those we serve.

You will collaborate with clinicians, program leaders, community partners, referral sources, and organizational leadership to ensure youth receive coordinated and effective care that supports long-term success.

You will oversee campus operations, budgeting, resource allocation, and strategic planning, helping ensure programs remain sustainable while continuing to grow and evolve with the needs of the community.

You will build relationships with local agencies, service providers, schools, community organizations, and stakeholders who share a commitment to improving outcomes for youth and families.

Some days you will be reviewing program performance, supporting leaders through complex situations, meeting with community partners, and planning for future growth. Other days you will be celebrating staff accomplishments, helping solve operational challenges, advocating for resources, or witnessing the progress of a young person whose future looks brighter because of the work your team provides.

Every day, you will have the opportunity to create an environment where youth can heal, staff can thrive, and meaningful change can happen.

The Professional We Are Looking For

  • You are passionate about serving youth and families through trauma-informed, strengths-based care.

  • You enjoy developing leaders, strengthening teams, and creating cultures where employees feel valued and supported.
  • You approach challenges with professionalism, collaboration, and a solution-focused mindset.
  • You are committed to continuous improvement and delivering high-quality services.
  • You believe every young person deserves safety, hope, and the opportunity to succeed.

What You Will Bring

  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and culturally responsive services.
