Summary:
We are seeking a Scrum Master who brings strong leadership presence, the ability to influence without authority, and a proactive approach to risk and impediment management.
This role requires an individual who is comfortable operating in ambiguity, exercising sound judgment, and engaging the right stakeholders at the right time to protect delivery commitments and reduce enterprise risk.
Specifically, the Scrum Master is expected to:
• Actively drive resolution of team impediments, cross team dependencies, and delivery risks by influencing Product Owners, technology partners, and leaders through clear, fact-based communication.
• Identify, assess, and escalate risks early—within the sprint or planning horizon—ensuring leadership has timely visibility into issues that may impact scope, schedule, quality, or compliance.
• Escalate with intent and clarity, providing actionable context, options, and recommendations rather than simply raising awareness.
• Demonstrate ownership and accountability for surfacing concerns, challenging assumptions, and advocating for the team when delivery is at risk.
• Maintain a strong leadership presence during ceremonies and stakeholder interactions, confidently navigating difficult conversations and reinforcing agile discipline and expectations.
• Operate as a trusted escalation partner, ensuring transparency into decision points, tradeoffs, and process overrides, while reinforcing enterprise agile and risk management standards
Responsibilities:
Facilitate the Scrum process across work efforts that include moderately complex projects, non‑project initiatives, and maintenance activities.
Guide teams in Agile and Scrum practices to promote prioritization, readiness, and commitment for each sprint.
Optimize team velocity by identifying improvement opportunities and increasing work visibility through backlog refinement, WIP management, and dependency tracking.
Deliver capabilities using Agile practices while also adhering to SDLC requirements, release processes, business process mapping, and risk/security controls.
Collaborate with discipline managers to ensure alignment with governance policies and corporate standards.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for assigned teams and support Agile maturity growth.
Partner with Product Owners, program/project managers, and leaders to communicate delivery progress, escalate key risks early, remove impediments, and coordinate cross‑team dependencies.
Collaborate and consult across teams, peers, and leaders to resolve issues and achieve delivery goals.
Interact directly with internal stakeholders and customers, exercising independent judgment while gaining deeper understanding of processes and compliance expectations.

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
