You will join a high-performing, award-winning engineering organization (300 engineers across the U.S. and India) that leverages modern development practices, AI-assisted tooling, and cloud-native platforms to deliver cutting-edge solutions.
We are seeking a Lead Digital Assets Software Engineer with strong full-stack capabilities to support an eCurrency initiative within Wealth & Investment Management Technology (WIMT).
You will play a key role in designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions, working within a fast-paced Agile Scrum team. This position requires both hands-on development expertise and technical leadership across complex initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead large-scale, complex engineering initiatives with enterprise-wide impact
Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services
Build and support RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Establish and promote engineering standards and best practices
Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality, production-ready deliverables
Collaborate with senior engineers, architects, and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges
Drive innovation through adoption of new technologies and AI-enabled development tools
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership within Agile teams
Contribute to solution design for cloud-native and distributed systems
Qualifications:

Demonstrated software engineering experience
Strong hands-on software development experience with Java
Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs and microservices
Experience working with AI-assisted software development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, agents)
Experience building RESTful services using Spring Boot
Experience with cloud-native architectures and containerization (Kubernetes)
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub-based workflows
Proficiency with modern development tools (e.g., Visual Studio Code)
Experience supporting trading systems, market data, or FIX-based platforms
Strong understanding of software architecture and design principles
Experience with code quality tools and secure coding practices (e.g., SonarQube)
